LOST SG: Singapore’s High-Tech Escape Room Adventure

The first time I went to LOST SG, it was for a friend’s birthday, and honestly, I didn’t know what to expect. I’d heard about escape rooms before but never tried one. Now, after going back recently, I can say it’s easily one of the most fun things to do in Singapore if you like solving puzzles or just want a good laugh with friends.

It’s located at GR.iD Mall on Selegie Road, and the whole place gives off a cool, mysterious vibe the moment you step in. The staff explains the rules, hands you a tablet, and once you’re locked in the room, the clock starts ticking. My friends and I tried the Alcatraz theme, and it actually felt like we were inside a movie set, hidden switches, moving walls, and clues that made us think (and argue) in the best way possible. Every room has its own story and level of difficulty, so whether you’re a beginner or a pro at escape rooms, there’s something for everyone.

What makes LOST SG stand out is how immersive it is. The puzzles aren’t just random locks and numbers—they’re tied to the storyline, and everything feels high-tech and well thought out. Plus, it’s such a good bonding activity. You really see how your friends think under pressure and how everyone reacts when there are only a few minutes left on the clock.

The only critique I’d give is about their marketing. I feel like not many people even know LOST SG exists, which is a shame because it’s genuinely one of the best escape room experiences around. They don’t get the same kind of buzz as trendier places do, like dessert cafés or pop-up events, but they easily could. Posting more behind-the-scenes content or short teaser videos on social media would definitely help spread the word—especially since there’s nothing quite like it in Singapore.

If you’re looking for something fun to do after school, on the weekend, or even as a team activity, LOST SG is definitely worth checking out. It’s one of those hidden gems that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something new every time you go.
