Cocobella Life Bar: My Go-To Spot for a Healthy Reset in Holland Village

I’ve mentioned Holland Village a few times on this blog, especially because of how often I used to go there to study, hang out, or grab dinner after school. It’s one of those places that somehow feels both relaxed and lively, and over time, I’ve built a small list of favorite stops there. But if I had to pick just one to go back to every time I’m in the area, it would be Cocobella Life Bar.

I actually discovered Cocobella by accident. It was during my school’s soccer season, after a long match—we were starving, sweaty, and in desperate need of something satisfying but not heavy. A few friends and I wandered into Holland looking for food, and that’s when we spotted Cocobella. The bright, fresh look of the place pulled us in, and from the first visit, I was hooked.

Everything about it just feels good. The atmosphere is light and airy, the seating is casual but comfy, and the menu is filled with protein-packed meals and smoothies that actually taste amazing. It’s rare to find healthy food that feels like a treat, but Cocobella has managed to strike that balance perfectly.

Now, whenever I’m in Holland Village—whether it’s to study, meet a friend, or just take a break from a busy week, Cocobella is where I go. I love ordering their Coco Protein Smoothie, my favorite, and sitting by the window with my laptop or a book. The vibe is peaceful but not too quiet, making it the ideal place for getting work done without feeling the rush of a busy cafe.

One thing I really appreciate is how their meals don’t weigh you down. It’s mostly smoothie bowls, wraps, salads, and shakes—all made with clean, wholesome ingredients that actually give you energy instead of leaving you sluggish. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’re recharging yourself, I especially found it refreshing after my soccer games.

If I had to suggest one thing from a business perspective, I’d say they could highlight their health benefits more clearly in their marketing. Singapore doesn’t have that many food spots that focus this much on fresh, protein-filled, nourishing meals, and I think that’s something people are really looking for, especially in areas like Holland Village where the crowd is a mix of students, professionals, and families. Promoting the health angle a little more, maybe through clearer signage, more visible ingredient info, or even simple nutrition highlights, could draw in even more of the people who are already nearby and just don’t know what they’re missing.

This is hands down my favorite healthy food spot in Singapore, a true hidden gem in Holland Village.
